Goods provided to orphanage to celebrate Dashain

JHAPA, Oct 17: Police officers and police personnel in Jhapa district have provided necessary goods for Dashain festival to children of Birtamod-based Child Future Orphanage by curtailing from their one day´s salary.



According to Police Superintendent, Tarini Prasad Lamsal, they handed over goods worth Rs. 25,000, as well as one goat, 35 kgs of pulse, 200 kg of rice and 17 liters of mustard oil to the operator of the Orphanage, Chandra Bhattarai. [break]



Bhattarai said that she was worried as to how to celebrate the Dashain Festival in the Orphanage and thanked the police personnel for their support to the Orphanage.
