The man-of-the-match adjudged Ghising´s hat-trick turned to be the second hat-trick of the tournament. Earlier, Amar Dangol of Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) had completed hat-trick in his side´s win over Lalbandi Football Club.
Katwal scored in the 40th minute for APF, the runner up of last edition to cut the deficit and make score 2-1. Katwal scored in Santosh Shresth´s header rebounder from bar off Arjun Subba´s freekick.
Skipper Shretha scored in the 63rd minute making score 3-1 in Manoj Gurung´s pass. While completing his hat-trick, Ghising scored in the 71st minute and Chemjong sealed the victory in the 80th minute.
"We came under pressure after conceding two early goals," APF coach Janak Singh Tharu said adding, "The second goal we conceded was probably an offside. We failed to make a comeback following that."
MMC coach Hari Om Shrestha expressed satisfaction toward his team´s performance. "We have arrived here from Pokhara with the confidence of winning the title and this victory has added more confidence," Shrestha said.
Sahara Club of Pokhara will lock horns against top flight Himalayan Sherpa Club on Wednesday.
