However, the meeting didn’t induct BP Yadav, who had led a rebel campaign to recall all four MPRF ministers from the government just before the party convention.
MPRF leader Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav told myrepublica.com that the meeting increased the number of CC members to 35 after inducting Gachchhadar (who is also the Minister for Physical Planning and Works), Ranju Verma and Dev Narayan Yadav. At the end of the Birgunj convention, a 32-member CC headed by party chairman Upendra Yadav had been announced.
The meeting also appointed JP Gupta, who is also Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, as party joint-chairman, Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav as General Secretary, Ratneshwor Kayastha as Secretary and Renu Yadav Treasurer of the party.
The meeting also formed eight committees.
