FSU President Thagunna attacked

The newly elected Free Students' Union (FSU) president of Sanothimi Campus in Bhaktapur, Narendra Singh Thagunna, has sustained injuries after an unidentified person attacked him.

KATHMANDU, April 6: The newly elected Free Students' Union (FSU) president of Sanothimi Campus in Bhaktapur, Narendra Singh Thagunna, has sustained injuries after an unidentified person attacked him.



Former president of All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), Ramesh Malla, shared the incident on social media, Facebook, confirming the attack on Thagunna. Malla, who is also a leader of the Maoist Centre, condemned the attack while sharing a photograph of the incident.

Thagunna, who is also a leader of ANNISU (Revolutionary), is seen with wounds on his cheek and close to his eye. Malla said that the attack took place on Saturday night. He added that further details about the incident are yet to be received.
