Local Ghanashyam BK’s wife, a son and two daughters were killed on the spot when a landslide hit his house, according to Beni Mahadev Poudel, inspector at the area police office, Ridi. [break]
His wife Bhumikala, 39, their son Umesh, 16, daughters Muna, 11, and six-year-old Bipana were killed in the mishap. Ghanashyam and his another son Keshar, 10, were rescued alive by the locals.
A squad from the area police office, Ridi, is heading to the incident site, Poudel said.
