KATHMANDU, Sept 22: West Kathmandu Football Club is set to hold Tapai Hamro Kathmandu Cup Football Tournament at its own football ground at Chantragiri Municipality, Naikap in Kathmandu from October 5.

Organizing a press meet in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Sundar Thapa, vice president of the club, informed that it will entertain all football clubs and expected that nearly 40 clubs will take part in the tournament as the winner and runner-up will bag Rs 101,000 and Rs 51,500 respectively. Best players in various categories will be awarded attractive prizes.
The estimated cost of the tournament, sponsored by Tapai Hamro Cooperative Limited, is Rs 800,000 and entry fee for each club is Rs 7,500.
