Five killed in separate incidents in Sindhupalchwok

CHAUTARA, Sept 10: Three persons including two children were killed as they were swept away by Sunkoshi River here in Chokati-8, Dhunwadhali of the district on Monday evening.



The deceased have been identified as Dhanamaya Thami and her two children. It has been learnt that the deceased mother was pregnant.



According to Deepak Bohara, district police chief, they were swept away at around 9 pm last night. Police have recovered body of mother and one of the children near the site of the incident whereas the body of another child was found near Barhabise, this morning.



Meanwhile, two people have been killed here in Dhuskun-6, Nigale, when a landslide buried a cowshed where they were asleep. The deceased have been identified as Man Bahadur Bohara, 72, and Isha Bohara,7.
