The houses and cattle sheds of Ram Karki, Punya Karki, Chandra Karki, Gopal Basnet and Rudra Basnet have been destroyed in the fire broke out at Bhorleni Community Forest on Wednesday. [break]
Local journalist Santosh Tigela said the fire was brought under control with efforts of the police and locals. Police put the loss at over Rs 3.5 million.
Similarly, 12 houses and nine sheds were gutted in Dhuwang of Pyuthan district on Thursday reports our Dang correspondent Gajendra Bohara. Police said over 50 cattle were killed in the fire though there was no human casualty.
