The community forests in Syanikhal, Hiwalcha, Danda Gaon, Laxmipur, Khalanga, Tharmare including others VDCs of the district have been blazing on fire since Sunday night.
The wild fire caught seven houses, a primary school, and seven cowsheds in Sanikhal VDC-9. Similarly, two houses in Syanikhal-8, two houses in Hibalcha-2 and two houses Laxmipur VDC were turned into ash.
It is learnt that the forest fire also destroyed the resin collected from the community forests. The fire victims are forced to spend their night under open sky after their house and cowsheds were destroyed.
