Speaking at a press meet organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Saptari chapter in Rajbiraj on Saturday, Minister Joshi said a consensus among all the political parties was a must to conduct the election in a free and fair atmosphere.[break]
"The country is heading towards the political crisis due to a conflict between the government and the opposition parties," he said.
The government has been claiming that it would conduct the election at any cost while the opposition parties have been stating that they would not allow the elections to be held, added Joshi.
He further stressed the need of adopting maximum flexibility by all the political parties to avert untoward political clashes in the country.
"Three major parties are responsible for the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly," claimed Joshi who is also the Chairman of CPN (United) and opined that a roundtable conference with the participation of all the political parties is the best alternative of the hour to take the country on right track.
