The vehicle, heading for Basantapur of Tehrathum from Hile, fell 35 meters down the road at around 6 a.m., according to Hile police.
Those injured in the accident are driver Tekendra Basnet (23) of Bhojpur, his assistant Dik Bahadur BK (20) of Leguwa, Kavita Rai (19) and Kaviraj Rai (26) of Bhojpur, Chuna Tamang, Dadhiram Tamang (25) and Krishna Titung (45) of Hile. Police said driver Basnet is in critical condition.
The injured have been taken to B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment.
