KAVREPALANCHOWK, March 14: To expedite blacktopping of the Dhulikhel-Khawa road section along the Araniko Highway, vehicular movement will be halted for two weeks from March 21 to April 3.
The work has been accelerated following an agreement with a new contractor in last Kartik (October–November). The road upgrade had been stalled earlier due to negligence on the part of the previous contractor.
To step up the upgrade, traffic will be banned at night during the mentioned period.
