The faction took the decision as former central committee members and former and incumbent lawmakers, according to NC leader Bal Krishna Khand, who is close to Deuba, so suggested.[break]
"The date of the meeting will be fixed after holding consultations with the party´s district presidents in the capital," said Khand.
The meeting also concluded that the dissolution of Nepal Tarun Dal, Nepal Mahila Sangh, Nepal Adibasi Janajati Sangh and Prajatantrik Senani Sangh violated an understanding reached between then party President Girija Prasad Koirala and Deuba during party unification in 2007.
According to leaders from the Deuba faction, Koirala and Deuba had agreed not to dissolve the incumbent executive committees of the sister organizations in question and to allow them to hold their conventions.
The Deuba faction has stepped up its activities in its bid to exert pressure on the party establishment to review its decision to dissolve the party wings, saying that the decision should be withdrawan.
