"To mobilize the army in the name of PLA integration is against the constitution. The constitution nowhere permits army mobilization without approval of the president," said Gajurel while taking to local revolutionary journalists. [break]
He also accused the prime minister of mobilizing the army without taking permission from the president.
Accusing Dahal and Bhattarai of being the greatest-ever traitors in the history of the Nepali communist movement, Gajurel said history would never pardon them.
"Unfortunately, he (Dahal) has gone on record saying he took a historic decision and a brave step," said Gajurel from the hard-line faction led by Senior Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya.
Gajurel argued that international observers should have been invited to monitor the integration process. "But our chairman and vice-chairman sent the Nepal Army to take the cantonments under control and force the PLA to surrender," he said.
Terming the government led by Bhattarai the worst-ever government in the history, the Maoist hardliner also accused the government of putting national sovereignty at risk.
According to Gajurel, there is now threat of the government signing a deal with India on the Koshi high dam, Pancheswor and Upper Karnali hydro power projects against the interests of the country.
Stressing on the need for a "people´s constitution", he also accused Dahal and Bhattarai of “plotting” with the NC and UML for a parliamentary constitution.
Gajurel said that he is leading the front of the 11 political parties demanding federalism based on identity and rights of the Janajatis, Madhesis, Dalits and other backward communities. He also clarified that his faction is not for splitting the party and if the party splits, the party establishment faction would be to blame.
