Organizing a press meet on Wednesday, DECC said the program will be held at DECC Hall at United World Trade Centre, Tripureshwar. It will have more than 125 stalls representing handicraft products made by women. The fair will also have 10 stalls representing typical Nepali foods.
DECC further informed that visitors will have to pay Rs 20 as entrance fee. DECC plans to use 15 percent of the revenue from the event for women empowerment programs. The fair, which is being sponsored by Dabur Special Hair Oil, Mega Bank and Gitanjali Jewelers among others, is expected to draw about 40,000 visitors.
