Cop arrested for sexual assault

DANG, Oct 8: Kamal Rawat, a police sergeant working at Mid West Regional Police Boarding School of Gulariya of Ghorahi Municipality 2 was arrested for sexually assaulting a 26-year-old woman. The sergeant is also learnt to have beaten her son. The woman´s husband lives abroad.

Police Chief of District Police Office Pushkal Regmi said investigation into the incident was being carried out.
