According to Madhusudan Upadhyaya, the general secretary of the club, the agreement between Shrestha and Club was the result of long coordination and mutual relationship between them.

"Coach Shrestha has been cooperating with us since C division and he wanted to give continuity to the relation," Upadhyaya said adding," He also has the talent to know players´ ability. The club was satisfied with his performance thus we struck the deal."

Bansbari had defeated Mega Three Star Club, Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) and Armed Police Force UAPF) in the last season under Shrestha´s leadership.

In his short tenure at the MMC, the club won Aaha Gold Cup and Simara Gold Cup under Shrestha´s guidance. "I had also received proposals from some other teams but I did not wanted to break my relations with Bansbari."

Shrestha has said that he plans to prepare the team targeting upcoming league. "The team´s performance was satisfactory in the last league season and I want to give continuity to the last year´s performance," Shreshta said. "I have taken the Ncell Cup to be held later in this month as the preparation for the league. I will try to fulfill weakness in the team by hiring foreign players after watching the team´ performance in the Ncell Cup."

Shrestha also shared his plans of elevating the team into top eight positions in the current season. The Club had finished in 10th spot in the last season. "I know the league will be more competitive than previous edition but we will aim to finish in top eight positions," said Shrestha who had represented Nepal during the age group tournament.

General Secretary Upadhyaya also revealed similar plans and said the team would hire four foreigner players for the league. "Almost all Nepali players have already joined other teams. Thus we have no other option than to hire foreigner player for the league."
