“We are very happy to cater to the female mass of the country with two wheelers of optimum safety and quality,” Chitra Kunwar, managing director of Honeywell International, said.

According to the company, Citi Ace 110 is a dynamic and sporty scooter that comes with practical design and is ideal for both personal and business use. “Its front cover is detachable and this gives the scooter flexibility for either use,” said the company in a press statement issued on the occasion.

Citi Ace 110 comes with a four-liter fuel tank and is equipped with four step rotary gears developed from the previous successful Citi 100 model with technical improvements.

The scooter is expected to give mileage of around 50 kilometers per liter in Kathmandu, reads the statement, adding that it makes the scooter highly fuel efficient two-wheelers in the category.

“It is also inexpensive to maintain,” said Kunwar.

As for the exterior, its rear cushion is designed to regulate progressive loading when used to carry a pillion passenger or cargo. It can be driven at a maximum speed of 102 km per hour. For added safety, it has a switch attached to the side stand, which ensures that the Citi Ace 110 can be driven only after the side stand has been fully retracted.

The scooter is equipped with headlight with single multi-focus lens that enhances its overall styling and night riding safety. Similarly, its speedometer design is simple and rider friendly. It is available in four colors -- blue, red, white and black with silver combination.

Honeywell provides warranty for a year or 15,000 km on Citi Ace. “The customers will also enjoy free servicing for 15 times,” reads the statement. The company has also arranged financing and exchange facility for the customers.

“Daelim bikes is very popular in Nepal and liked by many customers. So, we are sure that the newly launched scooters would also create strong impact in Nepali market and be loved by our female mass,” Kunwar stated.
