Chinese Communist Party leader arriving Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Aug. 15: At the invitation of the Government of Nepal, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee of the CPC, Zhou Yongkang is arriving here on Tuesday on a three-day official visit to Nepal



During his visit, Mr. Zhou is scheduled to hold official talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal. He will also pay courtesy calls on the President and the Prime Minister, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[break]



Likewise, the Chinese delegation led by Mr. Zhou is scheduled to meet with senior leaders of major political parties.



During the visit, an Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation will be signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of People´s Republic of China amid a ceremony to be organized at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, adds the Ministry.



Mr. Zhou is leading a delegation comprising senior Leaders, Ministers and high ranking officials of the People´s Republic of China.
