The CC meeting was held for the first time after the Constituent Assembly passed the latest calendar regarding the constitution writing process.[break]
The meeting also held discussions on how could the contentious issues appearing in the report submitted by the Committee of Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles under the thematic committee for writing constitution.
CC President Nilambar Acharya said as the CA has already decided to include the repeated issues of the fundamental rights and directive principles under fundamental rights and such issues will be resolved in the meeting to be held on December 14.
Similarly, Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Leader and committee member Ramchandra Paudel said the Dispute Resolution Sub-committee informed about its report to the meeting as well as the report submitted by the secretariat on the repeated issues regarding fundamental rights and directive principles.
Sub-committee member Laxmanlal Karna said the meeting reviewed over the progress made by the sub-committee.
