BUSINESS BRIEFS: Exide Home UPS hits market

KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Hulas Power, a subsidiary of the Golchha Organization and the sole authorized distributor of Exide products for Nepal, on Thursday launched Exide Home UPS in the market. The Exide Home UPS launched on the day are of 650VA, 850VA and 1450VA capacity and priced at Rs 19,999, Rs 24,999 and Rs 32,999 respectively, reads a press statement issued by the company.



Hulas Power has been providing power back-up solutions in the Nepali market for the last four years with more than 90 dealers across the country. The company has offered two years warranty on each Exide Home UPS.[break]



MDBL unveils Manakamana gold loan

KATHMANDU: Manakamana Development Bank Limited (MDBL) has introduced Manakamana Gold Loan, under which the customers can take loans against gold ornaments, coins, biscuits and bars, among others. Customers can avail of the loan service from the New Road branch, but MDBL is planning to expand this service to other branches as well.
