Three separate committees had been set up late on Thursday night at a meeting of all stakeholders to resolve security problems and investigate the recent incident at the hospital but the doctors have maintained that the protest will continue till the suggestions to be made by the report are implemented. An 18-member task force, headed by BPKIHS Registrar Nanda Kumar Thapa was asked to come up with short-term and long-term security plans for BPKIHS within three days.
Doctors at BPKIHS have taken to the streets indefinitely since two doctors were beaten up on October 19 on the hospital premises.
