Bomb goes off at transport office in Nepalgunj

NEPALGUNJ, June 1: Locals of Karkando Chowk of Banke district have been left terrorized following an explosion at the Bheri Transport Services office late Thursday night.



Meanwhile, a bus (Ba 2 Kha 5468) belonging to the transport services has also been torched. According to an eyewitness, an unidentified bicycle-borne man torched the bus, which was parked on the roadside. [break]



However, the bus driver Lalit Jaisi escaped unhurt. According to Jaisi, he survived as he managed to get out of the bus immediately. Triyugi Narayan Agrawal is the owner of the transport services.



Fire brigade and locals doused the fire erupted following the blast. The motive behind the blast is not known yet.
