MORANG, Nov 2: An unidentified gang carried out a blast at the house of Dr Gyanendraman Singh Karki, chairperson of Nobel Medical College, in Biratnagar on Sunday night. Police said the blast, however, caused no human casualties.

Earlier six months ago too, an unknown gang had triggered a blast at Karki´s house.

The Kanchanbari-based medical college has remained closed for six days due to a dispute among board members.

The blast occurred on the same day students of the college warned feuding directors that they would run the college themselves if the dispute was not solved.
