Maxx Mobile launches new set
KATHMANDU : Telemax, the official distributor of Maxx Mobiles for Nepal, has launched MX 421 Supremo phone in the market. According to a press release, MX421 supports dual-GSM SIM and comes with a powerful battery. Its major features include 2.8-inch TFT display, 2 megapixel camera with dual flash light, Bluetooth, FM radio and MP3/MP4 player, among others. “The set is user friendly for social networking as Facebook and Twitter can be easily used in this set,” states the release, adding that the set also has super movie player and auto call record system, and supports expandable memory card up to 8 GB. Telemax says the set is priced at Rs 3,895. The company is giving away 4 GB memory card for free with every purchase. It gives six months warranty on battery and accessories and a year warranty on mobile set.
Chinese team urged to raise investment in Nepal
KATHMANDU: Nepali business people have urged Chinese officials and business entrepreneurs to increase their investment in Nepal. Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, president of Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCCI), asked the visiting Chinese delegation led by Yao Chaoying, Deputy Director General of General Office of Shaanxi Provincial Government, to increase investment in hydropower, agriculture, tourism and financial sectors of Nepal, states a press release issued by NCCCI on Tuesday. Speaking at an interaction with the delegation on Tuesday, Shrestha also assured the delegation of NCCCI´s support to facilitate Chinese investment in Nepal. On the occasion, Yao expressed commitment to provide an exhibition stall to Nepal at the 15th Investment and Trade fair being organized in Shaanxi from April 5 to 9 next year.
