BIZ BRIEFS:Mega Bank, PNCC join hands

KATHMANDU : Mega Bank and the Pravasi Nepali Coordination Committee (PNCC) will soon be working together to generate respectful job opportunities for foreign employment returnees in the country. According to a statement issued on Sunday, Anil Keshary Shah, CEO of Mega Bank, and Mahendra Pandey, chairman of the PNCC, signed a letter of intent to enter into a strategic alliance to work together on Sunday.



 "Mega Bank expresses commitment to offer retail loans to returning migrant workers to help them lead a decent life," states the statement. "The migrant workers should be respected and have better access to the country´s financial sector," Shah said after signing the letter of intent. Additionally, the PNCC--a non-government organization working in the field of migrant workers--and Mega Bank have agreed to launch awareness campaigns to establish migrant workers as respectable members of the society. "The bank and the PNCC will jointly help returning migrant workers to enroll in different skill enhancing trainings to reintegrate them in the society," reads the release.
