Bhat-Bhateni formally opens at Koteshwar

KATHMANDU, June 11: Bhat-Bhateni Group, the parent company of Bhat-Bhateni Super Market and Departmental Store (BBSM), formally opened its its third store in Koteshwor on Saturday. Min Bahadur Gurung, executive director of Bhat-Bhateni Group inaugurated the store.



In the first phase launch, the group opened first three floors containing groceries, apparels and kitchenware. Other two floors with electronic items and furniture will be opened later. [break]



Pahal Gurung, the director of BBSM, informed that more than 50,000 visited the store on the very first day.



The five storied store in Koteshwor is spread over an area of 125,000 square feet and offers over 125,000 varieties of products. Bhat-Bhateni at Koteshwor has a basement parking facility for 125 four wheelers and 150 two wheelers.



The Koteshwor has been built with an investment of Rs 500 million and is bigger than its existing stores at Bhat-Bahteni and Maharajgunj. The group is opening other two stores in Bouddha and Pulchowk on 12th July and 15th July respectively.
