“This book is a result of my decade long work experience as a desk editor, the mistakes we ourselves have made several times and realized it just the next day with the paper in hand,” said Bhandari, who has been working with Kantipur daily for more than a decade now.
“It becomes extremely embarrassing to notice blunders in printed form. I would be happy if this book makes some difference for Nepali print media, news online portals as well as for the journalism students,” he added.
In the book, Bhandari has emphasized on compactness and clarity of language, among other aspects, with catchy examples. The book includes a separate chapter on more correct sounding use of grammar.
