KATHMANDU, Sept. 8: CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baiddya has ruled out the possibility of party unification with the UCPN (Maoist).

Inaugurating a gathering of the Pyuthan-Kathmandu People´s Republic Liaison Forum in the capital on Saturday, Baiddya said that efforts to reform the UCPN (Maiost) Chairman and other office-bearers before the split in the UCPN (Maoist) to keep the party intact turned unsuccessful.[break]

Baiddya alleged the UCPN (Maoist) of deviating from the revolutionary path by signing anti-national agreements one after another even by surpassing the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML).

On the occasion, Baiddya said that some forces were spreading rumours and misinformation saying that the CPN-Maoist was taking up arms soon.

Pyuthan district in-charge of the party, Narayan Adhikari, leader Salikram Bhandari and others expressed their opinions on the occasion.

The gathering also formed a 33-member Pyuthan-Kathmandu People´s Republic Liaison Forum under the chair of Khimananda Adhikari.
