Australian embassy donates books

KATHMANDU, May 12: Australian Embassy donated books worth Rs 120,000 to Shree Mangal Dwip School Boudha on Thursday.



According to a press statement from the embassy, Deputy Head of Mission Damien Dunn handed over the books to the school under the direct aid program. [break]



Australia has allocated 18.44 million Australian dollar to Nepal for the fiscal year 2010-2011.



The embassy has funded ten projects worth Rs 11.4 million through the direct aid program this year.
