The deceased has been identified as Ash Lal Tamang, a NA soldier according to Niranjan Thapa, an inspector at District Police Office, Rukum.[break]
Of the injured, three are NA soldiers and others are members of a same family. However, the identification of the injured are yet to be ascertained.
According to police, injured are being rushed to district headquarters for treatment. They were rescued by the Police and NA personnel with the help of local people.
The jeep (Ba 1Ja 6306) en-route to Rukumkot VDC from the NA temporary camps based at Ghorepani of Sankh VDC.
