Winning the toss, Army School opted to bat first and scored 171 runs off 20 overs losing four wickets. Despite losing the first wicket on 13 runs, Army School bounced back to post a huge total. Kiran Shrestha and Ayush Jung Thapa shared a 99-run partnership for the second wicket.
Shrestha scored 54 runs off 38 balls with seven boundaries. Thapa remained unbeaten on 64 runs off 56 balls with four boundaries. Gunjan Yadav scored 20 runs off 12 balls while Najik Bikram Rana scored 14 runs off 9 balls.
Sujan Chapagain grabbed two wickets for Rajan Memorial while Kiran Saud took a wicket.
In reply, Rajan Memorial was bowled out for 73 runs in 13.5 overs. Kiran Shrestha grabbed seven wickets in 3.5 overs conceding 22 runs. Gunjan Yadav took two wickets while Ayush Jung Thapa took a wicket.
Praveen Raj Panta was the highest scorer for Rajan Memorial with 16 runs off 18 balls. Anil MC scored 12 runs off 23 balls while Kiran Saud scored 10 runs off 7 balls. Army School conceded 17 runs as extras.
Pramod Khatri of Rajan Memorial received the best batsman award for his 149 runs off 139 balls in five innings. Aryan Adhikari of Rajan Memorial took home the best bowler award for his 14 wickets in five matches. Kiran Shrestha of Army School was adjudged the player of the series for his all-round performance.
Shrestha scored 184 runs in four matches and grabbed 15 wickets off 15.5 overs.
