He extorted money in the name of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Goit) for a long time. However, he was recently extorting money in the name of Janatantrik Mukti Morcha (Bhagat Singh), police informed. Both are armed underground outfits operating in the Tarai region.
Indian police have also confirmed his killing. "We got to know about it (Yadav´s killing) around 8 o´clock," said Madhav Singh sub-inspector at the Raxual police station. "We are sending the body to Sadar Hospital in Motihari for post-mortem."
Yadav was a resident of Khapua-1, Bara and was currently residing in Nauka Tole in Raxual.
