The party faction led by Bikas Tiwari claimed that the Maoists´ declaration had downsized the Madhes province. Eleven districts were included in the Maoist declared Madhes province.
The party has stated that there will be five special zones in the province.
“The UCPN (Maoist) declared the Madhes province, but they weakened the Madhes by declaring Kochila and Tharuwan as separate provinces,” said Tiwari. He said his party made the move to protest the Maoists´ declaration.
