According to a press release issued by ANFA the event will be now held from June 16-24 at the Dasharath Stadium.[break]
Group D consists of host Nepal includes Uzbekistan, Jordan, Yemen and Bangladesh. Top two teams from the group will qualify for the final round of tournament to be held in 2013. Similarly, best second runner up among all seven groups and the host nation will also secure place for the finals.
Two matches will be held on alternate days at the Dasharath Stadium. The first match will be held at 15:30 and second at 18:30. Nepal will take on Bangladesh during the inaugural day´s second match after Yemen takes on Jordan in the curtain raiser match.
According to ANFA President Ganesh Thapa there won´t be any changes in the fixtures of tournament as published previously by the AFC. "Only the date of the event was postponed but the schedule of event will be according to previous declaration" Thapa said to the Republica.
