According to Chudal, five flights of Buddha Air, 4 flights of Yeti Airlines and 14 flights of Tara Air scheduled to Bhadrapur, Lukla, Dhangadi and Bharatpur were cancelled on Tuesday. Flights to and from Biratnagar and Simara have also been cancelled over the past three days.
“There were no flights to Biratnagar on Monday,” Chudal said, adding, “No flight has become possible in Bhadrapur in the past three days.”
As many as 40 flights were cancelled across the country on Monday alone. Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines cancelled 19 and 12 flights, respectively. Similarly, Tara Air cancelled nine flights.
