8 injured in NC-UML clash

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Eight persons were injured when workers of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML clashed in Jungidya VDC in Rautahat district, Thursday, according to Ujyaalo FM. The clash started after a dispute over forming a local forest users´ group. Two of the Nepali Congress workers have received serious injuries. They are being treated at a hospital in Gaur, the district headquarters.

Six injured UML workers are undergoing treatment in other Gaur area hospitals, the radio said.
