There are only 250 drug stores registered in the Department of Drug Management, Nepalgunj.[break]
According to a market monitoring team sent from the department, a large numbers of drug centers are found selling sample medicines and banned foreign drugs.
The stores are also found selling date expired drugs, said chief of the department Pushpa Rana Chhetri.
He said it was necessary to take pharmaceutical training from the department, but some drug houses are found running without any orientation.
The department will take action against those drug stores running illegally, said Chhetri.
