Of those injured, the situation of five is critical, according to Area Police Office, Ridi.
Those killed in the accident are are 55-year-old Sher Bahadur Kaucha of Righa-9, Baglung, three-month-old Hemanta Chalise of Galkot-3, Gulmi, and an unidentified woman aged around 40.
While Kaucha died while receiving treatment at Ridi Health Center, the other two died while being taken to Palpa for treatment.
The 10 injured have been admitted to Lumbini Medical College, Tansen. Inspector Bini Bahadur Poudel said the jeep fell some 100 meters down a narrow road.
Rescue operations started only an hour after the accident.
