Youths shaking hands in bid to break world record

KATHMANDU, April 20: In a bid to register a Guinness World Record, four youths have been continuously shaking each other´s hands for over 30 hours.



They will continue it until Thursday.



According to the event organizer, Pashupati Plaza Byapar Sangh, Khichapokhari, those vying for the record are Santosh Timilsina, Amrit Timilsina, Bikram Timilsina and Sumit Timilsina.



According to the organizers, the youths are planning to set a new record of 48-hour-long handshaking.



At present, there is a 33-hour-long handshake world record.
