Nineteen-year old Rajesh Neupane from Gairagaon, who had gone to watch the sports on the eighth secondary level President Running Shield competition at Chhum Chaur in the district, was chased away by other youths and killed in the Palkot jungle.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bishnu Hari Koirala said two of the five persons including a girl have been arrested in connection with the case. They had accused Neupane of teasing girls. The incident occurred on Sunday.
A police team has been deployed to the incident site form the District Police Office, Khalanga. They are preparing to bring the dead body of Neupane to the district hospital for postmorterm after a site report.
