According to police, Sagar Karki, 24, was seriously injured after the tipper, Ba 3 Kha, 3089, hit the motorcycle, Ba 53 Pa 1374, at Suryabinayak-10, Nalinchowk.
Kakri was rushed to Scheer Memorial Hospital, Banepa where he breathed his last.
Police said they have arrested the tipper driver 44-year-old Buddhi Karmi and impounded the vehicle.
