Meghraj Nepali, 22, of Tharpu VDC, Ward No. 4 went missing on Monday. Police and local people have been searching for the missing youth since then, said Gopal Dhakal, Inspector of Police at the District Police Office, Panchthar.[break]
It has been learnt that the missing youth had been working as a construction labourer at the Terathum road section of the Mid-hills Highway.
Meanwhile in Jhapa district, a woman of around 65 years of age was found dead at Lakhanpur. The woman, who looks like a person of Terai origin has not been identified yet, according to Area Police Office, Damak. She was found dead in bed.
