During the farewell meet that continued for an hour, President Yadav urged PM Oli to further strengthen national unity.
Legal Advisor to President Lalit Basnet said the Head of the State suggested PM Oli to proceed by enhancing federalism and inclusiveness among others, while urging to ensure cordial relationship with neighboring countries.
Basnet said President suggested PM to rope in all political parties to consensus adding that it would only ensure political stability.
In return, PM Oli remarked the tenure of President Yadav as historic.
Basnet said PM Oli termed the tenure successful saying that peace process reached conclusion during the period.
“You played significant role in taking process to a conclusion, protecting Nepal Army and strengthening democracy,” Basnet said quoting PM Oli.
