KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Normal life in the Kathmandu Valley remained crippled for the third consecutive day on Tuesday, as a result of the four-hour long banda enforced by CPN-UML affiliated Youth Association Nepal (YAN) demanding resignation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.

Due to the strike from 6:00  to 10:00 in the morning, commuters have been hit hard as the public vehicles including micro-vans, tempos and buses stayed off the road.[break]

The morning banda has hit hard mainly to the students of Plus Two institutions and colleges.

Various youth and student organizations aligned with opposition parties have also extended their support to the banda organized by the YAN.
