At a program organized by Reporter´s Club, Parsa, on Friday, Yadav said it was unfortunate that attempts were being made to split the entire Madhesh region into the ´eastern´ and ´western´ Madhesh.[break]
He stressed that the new constitution should ensure the rights of the Madhesis along with the guarantee of a Madhesh state and added that there should be respectful representation of the Madhesis in the Nepal Army.
Yadav underscored the need of eliminating all sorts of ´discriminations´ against the ´Madhesi people´.
Yadav urged the government to maintain peace, security and good governance in the country, and added the constitution should be promulgated on the slated timeframe.
He further said there should be high-level of coordination and unity among all the political parties for the same.
