The signing of implementing the biggest-ever hydropower project of Nepal between Chinese Company Three Gorges and Nepal government has brought cheers among far-western folks. [break]
It has sent a good message to people belonging to the affected area, where overall development program stalled for a long time with abuzz of news on the prompt implementation of project, said Tek Bahadur Saud of Belapur.
The construction of the project with the capacity of 700-MW has been ascertained after it witnessed confusion for the past sixteen years.
Locals said they are happy enough with the signing of agreement for the construction of big hydro power project in far-western region when entire country people are facing trouble in the lack of electricity supply.
