“We have come to realize that we have been trapped in mud and our faces have been smeared in mud,” Dahal said. [break]
He said this after launching a book, Marxbadi Darshan, authored by Maoist party Senior Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya. “But we should realise that it is in muddy water that a lotus can blossom.”
Assuring that despite various challenges the time will surely come when the downtrodden will be emancipated, Dahal urged party cadres and supporters to exercise restraint.
He expressed his serious concern that party leaders and cadres were increasingly becoming very lazy. He urged them to give continuity to the studious habits they had during the insurgency period. He also suggested the party rank and file not come under the sway of ´commercial´ newspapers which often criticize the Maoist party.
Indicating the tendencies of such media, he claimed that media often prefer to launch propaganda against the Maoist party.
