Veep-led govt demanded

KATHMANDU, March 4: Speakers at an interaction programme here on Monday have urged the political parties to end the present deadlock based on principle of constitutionalism, rule of law and legal process.



Organizing the programme at the Reporters Club, leaders of all-party political alliance asked President Dr Ram Baran Yadav to form an election government under the leadership of Vice President Parmanand Jha.[break]



Coordinator of the alliance Shovaram Thapa said that solution of the present deadlock should be sought from the Interim Constitution of Nepal 2063 B.S.

Thapa said that the President and Vice President were the only legal institutions left after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly thereby President Yadav should form the election government under the leadership of Vice President Jha.
