According to a press statement issued by the Embassy of United States in Nepal on Monday, the revised fees are the same worldwide and cover actual operating expenses for the 301 overseas consular posts, services.
The new immigration fees introduced by the US are:
Family -based immigration visa $ 330.00
Employment-based immigrant visa $ 720.00
Other immigrant visas (SIVs, DVs etc) $ 305.00
Security Surcharge $ 74.00
Diversity visa lottery additional processing fee $ 440.00
